We have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful DAF Truck Dealership, as a Service Advisor for our busy Workshop Service Reception.

You will be working alongside the current team of Service Advisors and duties will include:

• Greeting customers in a friendly and efficient manner both in person and by telephone
• Assessing customers’ needs and booking in of trucks for repair or service work
• Workshop loading and preparation of job cards
• Communication of work to Workshop Controller
• Communicating with the customer at all stages of the repair for authorisation if needed
• Maintaining company databases
• Invoicing and general administrative duties

What are we looking for?

• Experience of working within a similar role within the automotive/truck environment would be an advantage
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work well as part of a team 
• Commercial vehicle technical knowledge
• Positive can-do attitude
• Reliability
• PC literate
