This week we helped to pair family-owned K.C.R Builders Providers with two fantastic 2019 DAF trucks, purchased from our DAF Ireland headquarters in Dublin.
The two new trucks, a 6x2 26T DAF CF 290 and 4x2 19T DAF LF 230, come with flatbed body and PK loader crane, supplied and fitted by Thomas McClean Body Builders and PALFINGER Ireland respectively. Also featured in both is a Day Cab with Air suspended driver’s seat, rear cab window, Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning System, AEBS system, Lane Departure Warning system, Reverse Warning System and factory-fitted hazard beacons.
When it comes to power, the CF truck benefits from an MX-7 290hp 6 cylinder engine with 12-speed fully automatic transmission, while the LF features an equally impressive MX-7 234hp 6 cylinder engine with 6-speed fully automatic transmission.
The keys were handed over to David Gavin and Michael Gavin from K.C.R Builders Providers, pictured below with DAF Trucks Ireland Sales Manager John McCann. We wish David and Michael all the best with their new trucks.
