Plant hire and turf supply company, Carroll Plant Hire, has traded in one of their older Euro 5 DAFs for a brand new DAF LF 180, with double dropside tipper body and Edbro CX10 Tipping Ram.
The 12T LF truck is powered by the latest MX-5 4-cylinder 184HP engine and features automatic temperature control, dual mate seats with luxury driver seat, Adaptive Cruise Control, forward collision warning, Advance Emergency Braking and lane departure and reverse warning systems.
DAF Trucks Ireland Sales Manager, John McCann handed the vehicle over to Niall Carroll, owner of Carroll Plant Hirem at our Dublin Headquarters. The truck is now in service, transporting turf for Carroll customers from their Allenwood base in Kildare.
The double dropside was supplied and fitted by Keltruck Bodies Ltd, Carlow.
