Long standing Evans Halshaw customer, Shepherd Distribution, has taken delivery of a brand-new 44 tonne DAF CF450FTG Space Cab which is one of five new vehicles purchased from Evans Halshaw this year.
The Sheffield based distribution company, which celebrated its 70th anniversary this year, had taken the decision to update their fleet to enable them to further enhance the services they provide to businesses across Yorkshire and the UK.
The five replacement vehicles purchased through Evans Halshaw DAF are intended join their existing fleet of 60 vehicles which enable Shepherd Distribution to make over 125,000 deliveries each year. The company, which was founded in 1946, specialises in groupage services to the metals and engineering sectors as well as general groupage and palletised distribution.

Taking delivery of these new trucks is an exciting moment for our business and ensures that we are well equipped for future growth.”
