An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fleet Sales Manager to support the growth of the business across the South of England.

The primary function of the job is to build high-level, long-term relationships with medium sized and major large national prospects & customers across the UK through profitably selling DAF Trucks and their associated and services that match the customer needs

Primary Accountabilities

·Manage the pipeline of sales to ensure products are delivered in accordance with legal, contractual, manufacturer and customer specifications and requirements in expected time

·Generate new sales opportunities and work with leads from DAF to create a pipeline of sales

·Utilise technology and systems to be efficient, share information and enable slick communication

·Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and services and share appropriately with colleagues and customers

·Promote the Company, products and services through marketing & sales events

·Manage effectively the sales to delivery process

Skills & Competencies

·Business to business track record of capital equipment & service sales, ideally in Automotive industry

·Able to create profitable multiple-unit commercial deals

·Goal orientated approach

·Good listener, influencer

·Ability to manage and balance the needs of multiple stakeholders

·High energy individual with excellent communication across all levels

·Professional, courteous and engaging manner with senior executives

·Ability to manage own time

·Ability to quickly learn

·Motivated to use sales systems and processes

·IT literate and familiar with Microsoft software

·Ideally, technical knowledge of trucks


Location: South of England, branch based

Base Salary: OTE £75k

Plus - Commission Scheme, Company Car, Laptop, iPhone, 22 Holidays per annum plus bank holidays, Company pension
