Job Title: HGV Technician
Location: Wigan

Working Hours: Days & Night shifts available, Plus Overtime!!! (to be discussed at interview stage)
Salary: £40,000 - £60,00 per annum(dependent on experience, working shift and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:

• To carry out the servicing, repair and maintenance of HGV’s to a high standard.
• Interpret instructions from the job card/repair order and comply with repair instructions.
• Attend training courses and keep abreast of the latest technical information.
• Accurately report and record work done and tests carried out, including immediately reporting any further work required or vehicle faults.
• Maintain allocated work areas in a clean and tidy condition.
• Provide information, maintain records and carry out all duties in an accurate, efficient and timely manner.
• Enhance the image and reputation of the company whilst supporting its commercial interests.
• In order to be successful in this role, you will work well as part of a small team, be a good communicator and have the ability to take on a variety of different workloads, planned or otherwise.

Ideally, we are looking for:

• Full UK Driving License, HGV Licence a bonus!
• Previous experience as a HGV Technician
• A relevant level 3 qualifications (or equivalent) is essential
• Passion to learn and a safety-first attitude.
• First class problem-solving skills.
• Great communication and a team player
• Industry-savvy and safety-conscious.
