Parts Delivery Driver (Temporary 2 months initially)

Ford and Slater are one the UK’s largest DAF Truck dealers group with 16 locations from Norwich to Birtley in the North East, employing over 900 staff whilst remaining a family run business. We are currently recruiting for a temporary Parts Delivery Driver for the fantastic team at our DAF Trucks depot in Leicester.

As a Parts Delivery Driver, we can offer you:

• £12.21 per hour
• Free onsite parking

Who are we looking for as a Parts Delivery Driver:

• Ideally you will have previous experience as a Delivery Driver / Multi-drop Delivery Driver (within the Motor trade or associated sector but not essential).
• Or enjoy driving and have an excellent geographical knowledge of Leicester and the surrounding area.
• Understand the importance of world class customer service.
• Full UK driving licence (ideally with no penalty points).

The Parts Delivery Driver role / responsibilities include (but not limited to):

Ensure correct orders are loaded for customer delivery. Deliver parts to customers within the geographical area on a timely basis. Ensure high levels of customer service at all times. Collect customer returns as required. Promote sales of parts. Help in the warehouse as and when required.

Working Monday to Friday 8am – 4:30pm (need to be flexible as OT can be required at short notice). Saturdays – As required
