Lothian DAF is looking to hire an experienced HGV Driver Trainer at their Loanhead site.

Roles and responsibilities

· Delivering structured onboarding sessions and familiarisation drives for new DAF truck owners and fleet drivers.

· Teaching drivers how to use advanced tech, reduce fuel consumption, and lower CO2 emissions.

· Explaining and demonstrating safety features like adaptive cruise control, advanced emergency braking, and lane departure warnings

· Deliver product demonstrations to customers.

Qualifications and Requirements

· Holding a valid, appropriate heavy goods vehicle driving licence along with a Driver CPC card.

· Extensive background in commercial truck driving to build trust and put other professional drivers at ease.

· Ability to clearly explain technical specifications and safety mechanics to individuals or large fleet groups.

· A willingness to travel
