Lothian DAF is looking to appoint a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team while managing and developing your own customer portfolio.
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in vehicle sales within the commercial vehicle sector, along with excellent leadership capabilities. You will play a key role in supporting the team to achieve ambitious sales and financial targets.
Responsibilities include:
· Oversee departmental performance, including profit and loss, and manage day-to-day operations.
· Lead, motivate and develop the sales team to consistently surpass targets.
· Drive business growth by expanding your own accounts and those of your team.
· Manage key accounts and build long-term customer relationships.
· Ensure full compliance with all internal and external policies and procedures.
What we are looking for:
· Proven experience in a similar sales management role.
· Strong commercial awareness and financial understanding.
· Good knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry (experience with DAF is advantageous).
· Exceptional leadership abilities.
· Strong communication and negotiation skills.
· A customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
