North West Trucks is a leading commercial vehicle dealership in the North West, providing high-quality service and support to our customers. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a reliable and professional Night Shift Collection & Delivery Driver to join our team at our Wigan depot.

Salary: £15.50 per hour

Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 9.00 pm, to 8.00 am, i.e. 40 hours per week, 1 hour lunch break (unpaid).

Other duties may be required of the post holder in addition to those listed above and below, to ensure that the requirements of the business are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver commercial vehicles to and from customer sites.
• Transport vehicles between company depots when required.
• Carry out basic vehicle checks prior to collection and delivery.
• Complete all relevant paperwork accurately and on time.
• Ensure vehicles are handled safely and in line with company procedures.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Adhere to all driving laws and tachograph regulations.

Knowledge/Skills/Experience/Special Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence - HGV Class 1 or 2.
• Tacho Card is essential.
• Previous commercial vehicle driving experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK road networks.
• Good communication skills and professional manner.
• Ability to work independently during night hours.
• Flexible and reliable approach to work.
